Entry Fee: $1,500 a Team- Fee includes everything (Course/Cart Fee, Lunches, Cocktails and Apps for 3 nights, beverage cart all 3 days, T-Gifts, Prizes, and Winnings). $1200 to be placed on Members Club Account. $300 due Friday night at event in cash for Cash Payouts.

Friday, August 21

Welcome Night / Bad Decisions Begin

The weekend opens with a practice round, first round of tournament, gear distribution, flight assignments, pari-mutuel betting, cocktails, appetizers, and the closest to the pin.

• First Round of Tournament

• Tournament Gear

• Pari-mutuel Betting (separate from event cash payouts and not mandatory)

• Early confidence that will not survive Friday

Saturday, August 22

27-Hole Grind

Saturday is the real test: 27 holes, multiple matches, grab-and-go lunch, and a full day of pretending your back is fine.

• Rules review

• Shotgun start

• 18-hole morning session (2 - 9 Hole Matches)

• Grab & Go lunch

• Final 9-hole session

• Cocktails and apps after the round

• Several players saying, “I’m still in this thing,” when they are not

Sunday, August 23

Championship Sunday

Sunday determines who advances, who collapses, and who becomes the first-ever BOZEDAN champion.

Planned Events:

• Shotgun start

• 18-hole tournament round (2 - 9 Hole Matches)

• Grab & Go lunch

• Final scoring review

• Shootout

• Awards ceremony

• Appetizers and Cocktails

• Public acceptance of private disappointment

• Get Out of Town

Tournament Format

The BOZEDAN Invitational features 12 two-man teams split into two flights based on combined team handicap.

Flights

Flight 1: Lowest 7 combined team handicaps
Flight 2: Highest 7 combined team handicaps

Maximum teammate handicap spread: 14 strokes

Tees

Regular tournament play will use the designated Black / Blue Tee Format on the card.

The shootout will be played from the Black Tees.

And yes — BOZEDAN on 18, as usual. No further explanation necessary.

Point System

The tournament will use the Firestone System, because apparently regular golf was not stressful enough.

Win the hole: +1 point
Lose the hole: -1 point
Tie the hole: 0 points

Each 9-hole match is capped:

Maximum win: +3
Maximum loss: -3

Translation: one disaster hole will not kill you, but six mediocre ones probably will.

The Shootout

At the end of tournament play, the top teams advance to the final shootout.

Shootout Format

The shootout will be played as alternate shot, the format specifically designed to make you question your partner’s life choices.

Holes: 15, 16, 18
Tees: Black tees
Tiebreaker: Repeat 18 until a champion is crowned or someone emotionally unravels

The gallery is encouraged. Heckling should remain tasteful, mostly.

2026 Invite List

Twenty-eight players will enter.
Fourteen teams will pretend they have a strategy.
One team will win.

Everyone else will have a story.
